휘슬에서 열린 개인전에서 전시된 회화를 모티브로 출간된 북워크이다. 책은 지난 작업을 회상하며 의식의 흐름에 따라 정돈하는 행위를 ‘서랍’으로, 꿈과 무의식의 조각난 형상을 펼치는 것을 ‘베개’에 은유한다. 이 프로젝트는 파편화된 기억을 책의 물성을 통해 감각하려는 시도다. 작품 속에 투영된 빛과 색면 조각을 총 32점의 프로타주로 각 페이지에 나열했다.
This book takes the paintings previously exhibited at Whistle as its motif. Its title is an allusion to two processes. ‘Drawers’ refers to the action of arranging things according to stream of consciousness, while ‘Pillow’ suggests the opening of broken shapes born from dreams and the unconscious. This project aims to realize fragmented memory through the inherent materiality of a book. <Drawers & Pillow> consists of 32 frottage pieces examining the light and pieced color fields seen throughout Park’s works.
